It's Scouts Popcorn time!

As many of you are aware, 1st Stittsville Scouts has one organized fund raiser each year which is selling Scouts Popcorn. Information packages should have been provided in the week of Oct 3-7 at your youth's regular meeting.

Beaver age youth are asked to approach friends and family rather but have been assigned local streets if their parents are comfortable canvassing. Cubs, Scouts and Venturers areas assigned areas near where they live. To ensure we do not canvas the same area multiple times, please consult the envelope for the location that the youth should cover. If more coverage is desired, please contact susan.leeder@gmail.com to get another street assigned. Youth canvassing the public are asked to wear uniforms so that they are recognized as a part of an organized activity. There are two order forms provided should a parent wish to canvas their workplace. A copy of the order form is attached.

Payment is required in advance and All cheques should be payable to 1st Stittsville Scout Group

Orders need to be provided to your section's popcorn co-ordinator by October 21, 2011,

It is our hope that you will see value in these articles. They make excellent fall clothing, birthay and holiday gifts, or simply new, larger sizes for your growing youth.

Hello all Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, and Venturers,

In an effort to ensure we reduce and reuse, we are asking you all to please ensure you bring a Mug to all Fire Pit meetings where there is a planned Mug Up. Foam cups will be minimized from now on in order to reduce the amount of non-recycling garbage that we produce. Thank you for your cooperation!
