The Voyageur Region Scouts Canada Field Executive team has been asked to develop and supply Scout related program activities to the City of Ottawa so kids can experience Scouting activities during their summer camps. PROGRAM ACTIVITY: OUTDOOR HIKE DURATION: Maximum of 90 minutes. MATERIALS: WISCONSIN LEAF K12 FORESTRY TREE ID GUIDE: COMMON TREES FOUND IN ONTARIO **PLEASE NOTE** Many thanks to 'LEAF' for giving permission to use the "K-12 Forestry Education Tree Identification" resources for our Scout programs. This material will be used to help educate youth and raise awareness of the need to protect the Trees within our environment. "Dichotomous" means "divided into two parts."
