The Voyageur Region Scouts Canada Field Executive team has been asked to develop and supply Scout related program activities to the City of Ottawa so kids can experience Scouting activities during their summer camps. PROGRAM ACTIVITY: OUTDOOR HIKE DURATION: Maximum of 90 minutes. MATERIALS: HOME MADE FIELD GUIDE: COMMON WILD FLOWERS FOUND IN ONTARIO UNDER CONSTRUCTION - FIELD GUIDE COMING SOON There are hundreds of wild flowers found in Ontario, far more than this short simple guide can cover. As this program is intended for a 90 minute activities, this field guide will cover a short range of common wild flowers as follows: Blue/Violet wild flowers Yellow wild flowers Orange wild flowers White wild flowers Red/Pink wild flowers Different kids of wild Grass Wild flowers found near water Short description of each flower, height, flowering time and habitat. Reference material NOTE: This Field Guide was created by volunteers for Scouts Canada program activities and City of Ottawa Summer camps. All errors are ours to bear. This guide is intended as a free resource for use for Scouts Canada program activities and City of Ottawa Summer camps.
