There is an open area for games a great campfire area and a peaceful spot under the pine trees for quiet reflection or as an ideal place for a Scouts own. Situated on Otty Lake the swimming is excellent as the beach gradually slopes to deeper water. Start at the Camp and paddle down Otty Lake to Jebbs creek, portage a couple of beaver dams and then on to the Tay River system that will take you to Christie Lake or the Rideau system. As an added attraction the Rideau Trail system runs past the camp gate, combine this with the trails on the camp property and adjacent Rideau Valley Conservation MICA mines and you have an excellent chance to test your hiking skills.
